Order General Care—Anti-Embolism

• If you haven't already:

1. Select the patient.

2. Click Write (ALT+W).

3. Click General Care (ALT+G).

4. Click Anti-Embolism (ALT+M).

• Complete the order:

1. Click a checkbox (or press ALT + the underlined letter) to select one or more anti-embolism measures.

2. Complete the order as follows for the selections:

• Pneumatic boots (ALT+P): Select thigh-high or knee-high from the Sleeve drop-down list, then type instructions.

• Ted stockings: (ALT+S): Type instructions.

• Jobst stockings (ALT+J): Click Above or Below the knee, and Compression or Tensor.

3. Select a Start Time (Now or Other ).

4. Click OK (ALT+O).

• Write additional orders as needed, then sign the session.
