If you haven't already:
Click Write (ALT+W).
Click Food and Nutrition (ALT+N).
Click Tube Feeding (ALT+T).
Select a product from the Product list.
Indications for use and primary characteristics of the selected product appear to the right.
Select the desired strength (Full, 3/4, 1/2, 1/4).
Click Intermittent (C).

Complete the form
Type the product volume, the frequency Q, the volume for the water flush, and the rate.
To order additives (ALT+A), click an option.
Type instructions as needed.
Select a Start Time (Now or Other ).
To order a Free Water Bolus, click its checkbox.
Select a volume when prompted. For Other volume, press TAB, then type the quantity (mls).
Select a frequency. For Other Frequency, press TAB, then type a detailed description.
Click OK (ALT+O).
If the patient has no other active orders for tube feeding, you are prompted to order a consult with a Registered Dietician from the Department of Nutrition and Food Services. See Responding to the Prompt for Consequent Orders.
Write additional orders as needed, then sign the session.
