Order Diagnostic Studies—Evoked Potential

• If you haven't already:

1. Select the patient.

2. Click Write (ALT+W).

3. Click Diagnostic Studies (ALT+I).

4. Click Evoked Potential (ALT+P).

• Complete the form

1. Click to select Visual EP, Brainstem Auditory EP, Median Somatosensory EP, Posterior Tibial Somatosensory EP, Full Panel, or Other. For Other, type a description.

2. Type the diagnosis, questions to be answered by EP, and clinical information in the fields provided.

3. To order Stat testing, click Yes, then type an explanation in the Reason field provided.

4. Type instructions and nerve comments as needed.

5. Click OK (ALT+O).

6. For Stat/Urgent orders, click OK (ALT+O) to acknowledge the Neurology scheduling message.

• Write additional orders as needed, then sign the session.
