Order Blood Products—Coombs and Other Tests

• If you haven't already:

1. Select the patient.

2. Click Write (ALT+W).

3. Click Blood Products (ALT+B).

4. Click Coombs and Other Tests (ALT+A).

• Complete the form

Routine is the only priority available for these assays.

5. Select a test: Direct Antiglobulin (Coombs), Cold Agglutinin Screen, Screen for fetal-maternal bleed, or Cord blood testing.

6. Type instructions as needed.

7. Click OK (ALT+O).

• Write additional orders as needed, then sign the session.
