March 18, 2014—Nutrition & Food Services Oral Diet Order Enhancements
Regular diet: Nutrition and Food Services offers a regular oral diet option tailored for adolescent patients. The option is now available for providers writing order for food and nutrition. The regular oral diet is defined by age group. The is no default entry; providers must select an age group when writing the order.
Oral diet supplements: For oral diet orders with supplements, a nutrition consult is ordered automatically. See Overview of Consequent Orders.
