Discharge - Meds Changed After PDML Print

Since the most recent printout of the Patient Discharge Medications List (PDML), the electronic record in the discharge orders has changed. These changes are not included in either  the previously printed PDML or the copy sent to the patient's electronic health record in the Results viewer. Please consider asking the RN to regenerate the PDML and reprinting a paper copy to give to the patient.

Any of the following changes will trigger this message:

• Any update to the discharge orders medications list, including additional medications for discharge, changes to the existing discharge medications, or changes to the reconciliation status of any inpatient or pre-admission medications

• Updates to the nursing medication discharge instructions, including nursing instructions for the patient, or the date and time of the last administration from the eMAR (electronic medication administration record)
