To run the HIS Patient Extract, your workstation must have the following installed:
Microsoft Windows XP (or higher)
Microsoft Office 2003 (or higher)
Microsoft .Net 3.5 (SP1) Framework (or higher)
Microsoft XPS Document Writer
Microsoft IE 6.0 (or higher)
Adobe Reader 7.0 (or higher)
Users who have received authorization from their site's HIS department can check for and install Microsoft .Net 3.5 (SP1) Framework and Microsoft XPS Document Writer by selecting Partners Applications > HISExtract-CAS Installer from the Windows Start menu. If you do not have Adobe Reader 7.0 (or higher) installed, download it from the Adobe website (www.adobe.com).
The recommended screen resolution is 1024 x 768 px. You can view and change the screen resolution from the Windows Start > Settings > Control Panel > Display > Settings tab. (This path may vary depending on how the workstation is set up.) In the Screen resolution section of the Settings tab, drag the bar to 1024 by 768 pixels.
