Manage your contact information

Contact information is used for 4Next support and to send notifications. By default, emails, SMS messages (referral recipients only), and pages (senders only) are delivered using the information in the Contact section of your profile. You can opt to send emails or SMS messages to a different address/number if needed.

  • If you haven't already:
  1. Click the menu made up of your initials lastname, firstname menu drop arrow.
  1. Click the Profile option. By default, your profile opens to General information. For Mass General Brigham staff, this is pulled from your profile in the Mass General Brigham employee directory. All other users, Contact Us if you need to change any of these entries.
  1. Click Contact in the index on the left.

Updating your contact information

  • The email and phone numbers here are used as contact information for 4Next support
  • If you are Mass General Brigham staff, by default, this information is pulled from your profile in the Mass General Brigham employee directory, and can't be changed here.
  1. Type to change or add your email address, business phone number (and extension when applicable), and mobile phone number.
  • Email - used as contact information for 4Next support; can be used for email notifications if enabled; if you need to change the email that's your user name at sign-in, Contact Us.
  • Business phone - used as contact information for 4Next support
  • Mobile phone number (non-Mass General Brigham only) - used for SMS (text) notifications if enabled; if you need to change the number for 2nd factor authentication at sign-in, Contact Us.
  • Pager - used for notifications if enabled (Mass General Brigham only)
  1. To save an entry, click Save button. To cancel the change, click Cancel button.
  • For users who are not Mass General Brigham staff, Contact Us to request the following:
  • Change the email that's your user name at sign-in
  • Change the number for 2nd factor authentication at sign-in
  • Set up voice messaging to a land line for 2nd factor authentication at sign-in

  • Set up or update notifications - For each site where you're authorized, you can set up, change, or remove notifications for specific 4Next referral events. 
  • For referral senders, events include message sent, the recipient changing the referral status to received, accept pending, offered, denied, or (offer) canceled.
  • For referral recipients, events include message received, or the case owner or co-owner changing the referral status to sent, accept offer, retracted, or finalized.
