In the event that you lose your connection with the LMR, the autosave feature allows you to recover note data that was autosaved. You must enable the autosave feature by setting it as a preference. A timestamp indicating when your note was autosaved appears at the bottom right of the notes entry screen. An autosaved notes can only be viewed by the author of the note, and it not an official part of the patient’s record until it has been saved as Preliminary or Final. Autosaved data is only stored for 7 days.
To recover an autosaved note:
1. If you haven't already, log back into the LMR.
The LMR may automatically navigate you to the
Sign screen. If you Sign for the note before recovering your autosaved
data, you will lose the autosaved data.
2. Do any of the following:
If you have manually saved and signed the note at least once, your note can be found in the Document Management module within your AutoSaved queue (and other applicable queues).
Note: If another user accesses your note, you will not see that user's changes when if you go back to your autosaved version.
If you have never manually saved and signed the note, first select the patient you were working on and go to the Notes module. The note is designated as AutoSaved in the Sts column in the Notes list.
3. Select the note by clicking its subject.
4. Make the necessary changes, and save your note by clicking Prelim or Final.
To remove the autosaved data from
