1. If you haven't already, go to the Clinical Messages (or Mail Center) module.
2. Click the Patient View button at the top of the screen. The Patient Search popup box displays.
3. Type the patient’s name, MRN, or social security number into the search field.
4. Click Search.
5. Click the link for the desired patient. All messages that you have access to view for the patient display. This can include both Clinical Messages and Patient Requests, depending on your authorization and the shared “desks” to which you are assigned.
6. To display a view-only version of a message, click the associated icon. Click Close Window to close the message.
Note: You can also click the subject of the message to view an actionable version of the message. Click Cancel to return to the Patient View main screen.
7. Click User View to return to your Active queue.
