The Custom Folders module displays the following filter buttons at the top of the screen:
My - The default screen. Includes all note folders you've saved to your personal list.
Practice - Includes all note folders saved by you and your colleagues as "practice" (shared) folders.
Colleagues - Includes all note folders saved by your colleagues as personal folders (that is, folders they've saved as "My list").
General - Includes note folders saved as Practice General by authorized users, if applicable. These behave slightly differently than other folders. For example, only supervisors or practice managers can remove them from the target list.
Click any button to display only the associated folder types. To move any folder to your target folder list (displayed by clicking the Module Preferences button), click the check box in the second column and click Move to Module.
The Module Preferences button is different than the other buttons. When you use Module Preferences to add a folder to the Notes module, that folder displays at the top of the notes list to help you to find notes that have been categorized according to specific criteria (such as note type, specialty, or setting). When you add a folder to Summary module, you can use that folder to display a filtered list instead of the entire list when creating a custom layout for the Summary module, Summary Popup, or QuickLook.
