Uploading Institutional-Level Lists and Sending PG Reminders

The following steps allows authorized users to upload institution-level lists and send reminders to PG patients. This processing may take several days to run and should be started on a Friday afternoon. Check the status of the report on the following Monday morning to review the number of each type of reminder sent and that status of the report (In Progress or Complete).

1.   Select the Institution List Upload option from the Admin menu.

2.   Click Load File.

3.   Navigate to the previously created file and click Open.

4.   Use the Active Reminder Template drop-down list to select the letter template that you want to be sent to PG patients with active reminders.

5.   Use the General Reminder Template drop-down list to select the letter template that you want to be sent to PG patients who do not have active reminders.

6.   Use the Entered By field to select the name of the provider to be listed on the report (as the person requesting it).

7.   Type your key and click Sign and Upload. The LMR displays a verification message.

8.   Click OK. The system reviews each patient in the report and generates reminder letters for PG patients in the background.
