Selecting a Patient from the Schedule

Before you can add information or access a medical record, you must select a patient. If the patient is scheduled for an appointment for that day, the LMR lists his or her name on the Schedule.

Selecting a patient from the Schedule is as simple as clicking a name. Once the patient is selected, the LMR displays the Summary screen, displaying lists of his or her active medications, problems, procedures, and allergies.

Note: You can also look up any patient by clicking Patient from the Select menu (for LMR from the CAS, click Select pt). Or, if the patient is scheduled for another day, you can use the electronic calendar and select the desired date to display that day's appointments.
