Select a Patient Using Name or Medical Record Number

Use these steps to select patients for batch entry of health monitoring information. Patients can be added in this manner in addition to patients selected from the schedule.

1.   If you haven't already, click Add Patient.

2.   Type either the patient's medical record number (if known) or last name into the Search For field.

3.   If you are searching by name, you can narrow the search by adding the patient's first name, related institution, gender, birthdate, or age. To add a first name, enter a comma, and then type the first name following the last name. You can type either a date of birth or age into the Age field.

4.   Click to select the desired patient. The LMR adds that patient to the batch entry grid.

Note: You can remove any patient from the grid by clicking the check box to the left of the patient's name and clicking Delete.

5.   Repeat, as needed, for each patient to be included.
