The Results Manager module is designed to help you manage the process of following up on laboratory tests that you have requested for your patients.
Note: Your initial screen depends on your role. If you are a provider, your schedule of patients for the last 2 weeks displays as well as older visits that have result flags. If you are not a provider, you need to select a provider from the drop-down list which lists all providers from your practice.
This screen serves several purposes:
Allows you to manually flag tests that you are awaiting results on
Indicates results that are available (from internal clinical laboratories)
Allows you to track patient follow-up letters and calls
Buttons at the top of this screen allow you to display a filtered version of this list, such as only visits with flags or results. You can also change the time frame.
Results Manager can also be used to create patient letters, using predefined letter templates. You can also directly access internal laboratory results, allowing you to cut and paste information directly into patient letters.
