When using the LMR on workstations that do not have a Partners build, you may experience problems viewing free-form notes that include special formatting (such as bold or italics text and special fonts), or printing prescriptions. For example, when displaying a note, you may see a rectangle with a circle, square, and triangle in the upper left corner.
If so, it is likely that there was a problem with the download of Active X components required by the LMR. Typically, these components are downloaded during the initial startup of the application. However, if you do not have administrative privileges on your computer, the download of these Active X components will fail.
Contact your local IT support organization to determine if you have the proper administrative privileges, and if not, find out what you have to do to ensure that the LMR Active X components can be installed. (For example, perhaps you can be granted these privileges, at least temporarily, or perhaps an IT representative can complete the download.) Then, do either of the following:
Reinstall Active X Components
Click the following button to attempt to reinstall the required components:

One of two prompts may display. When prompted to open the file or save it to your computer, click Open. Otherwise, click Run this program from its current location.
Accept all defaults to ensure proper installation.
Repair Active X Components
1. Select Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel, and then click LMR ActiveX Components.
2. When the installation program starts, select Repair ActiveX Components, and then click Finish.
3. Click Close when complete.
