Printing Flowsheets and Pediatric Growth Charts

Click Print (from the Flowsheet module) to print a grid of all values associated with the selected flowsheet.

Note: For pediatric growth charts, you can also choose to print to a specific printer by clicking Select Printer & Print (from any growth chart).

For patients under 25 years old, a Growth Charts button is available for viewing and printing the following types of charts. The specific growth charts available depend on the age of the patient.

• Stature/age and Weight/age

  For patients from 2 to 20 years old, displays values recorded for this patient with other children of the same age and sex, by percentile. Values for the selected patient display in red for stature, and in blue for weight.

  Note: A separate option and chart is available for patients under 2 years old (Length/age and Weight/age under 2y).

• BMI/age

  For patients 2 to 20 years old, displays a chart comparing the BMI (body mass index) for this patient with the BMI of other children of the same age and sex, by percentile. Values for the selected patient display in red.

• Weight/stature

  For patients 2 - 20 years old, displays a chart comparing the weight values recorded for this patient with the weight recorded for other children of the same height and sex, by percentile. Values for the selected patient display in red.

  Note: A separate option and chart is available for patients under 2 years old (Head c./Age and Weight/length under 2y).

• Length/age and Weight/age under 2y

  For patients under 2 years old, displays a chart comparing values recorded for this patient with other children of the same age and sex, by percentile. Values for the selected patient display in red for length, and in blue for weight.

• Head c./Age and Weight/length under 2y

  For patient under 2 years old, compares values recorded for this patient's head circumference and weight with values recorded for other children of the same age and sex, by percentile. Values for the selected patient display in red for head circumference, and in blue for weight.

Note: If applicable, the five most recent values are included in a table at the bottom of each chart.
