The following steps can be used for any Clinical Message or any Patient Request with a status of Read.
1. If you haven't already, go to the Clinical Messages (or Mail Center) module. The Active queue of either your Clinical Messages or Patient Requests displays. Depending on whether you want to mark as new a Clinical Message or Patient Request, you may need to click the appropriate tab.
Note: If you have the message opened, click Cancel to return to your current queue.
2. Click the check box for the desired message to select it.
3. Click Mark As New. For Clinical Messages or Patient Requests with a status of Read, the entry for the message in the Active queue reverts to bold text.
