Maintaining the Custom Target List

The Module Preferences button allows you to limit the templates that are available to you when creating a message from the PG Broadcast Message option.

If you do not use it to specify at least one template, your list includes all available templates. This includes all templates you've saved to your personal list, all templates saved by you and your colleagues as "practice" templates, as well as all templates saved by LMR support analysts as available to all LMR practices.

Use the following options to simplify and organize your template list:

• To remove one or more templates from the list

  1.   If you haven't already, to to the Custom Broadcast module and click Module Preferences.

  2.   Click the check box to the left of the custom template and Remove. The LMR displays a verification message.

  Note: Removing a custom template only hides it from being displayed in the target list. It does not delete it. Also, only the LMR support analysts can remove templates saved as Enterprise.

• To add individual templates to this list

  1.   If you haven't already, go to the Custom Broadcast module.

  2.   If necessary, use the filter buttons to find the custom template you want to add. The default filter button, My, includes all templates you've save to your personal list.

  3.   Click the Module check box and the Move to Module button.

• To restore your list at any time to include all available templates

  1.   If you haven't already, go to the Custom Templates module and click Module Preferences.

  2.   If any custom templates are displayed, they must first be deleted. Do so by clicking the check box to select all templates and then click the Remove button.

Note: You changes are available immediately. You do not need to click Sign or type your key.
