Legend for Result Manager

The following symbols are used in the Result Manager:

Indicates a result was forwarded by another provider

Indicates the patient is on the provider’s watchlist

Indicates a visit history assignment

Indicates a tickler was created fro this result

One or more results are critical - patient may be in imminent danger (for example, K<3.0)

One or more results are subcritical - abnormal results requiring prompt, but perhaps not immediate, attention (for example, LSIL on Pap smear)

One or more results are abnormal

The application cannot determine whether the results are normal or not (for example, reports for MRI, CT scans, and biopsy reports)

C, H, R, M, P, E

Indicates chemistry (C), hematology (H), radiology (R), microbiology (M), pathology (P), or endoscopy (E) results. For details on Results Manager rules, click here.

A visit note is associated with these results (click to display)

A patient letter is associated with these results (click to display)

Two or more patient letters are associated with these results (click to display)

The associated patient letter or letters have been printed; if multiple letters, at least one has been printed

In the PG column, indicates that the patient has a Patient Gateway account. Move your mouse pointer over this symbol to display the patient's last login or indicate if the patient has never used his or her account.

  • In the Ack column, all of the associated test results have been acknowledged

  • In the Test Arrived column, you or another user has manually indicated that tests have arrived

  • On the detail screen, indicates that the associated test results have been acknowledged

In the Patient Communication column, indicates that the patient has not viewed the associated patient letter (via the Patient Gateway application)

In the Patient Communication column, indicates that the patient has viewed the associated patient letter (via the Patient Gateway application). Move your cursor over the symbol to display the date viewed.

In the Patient Communication column, indicates there is one preliminary Patient Called note

In the Patient Communication column, indicates there is one final Patient Called note

In the Patient Communication column, indicates there are multiple preliminary Patient Called notes

In the Patient Communication column, indicates there are multiple final Patient Called notes
