This module from the Admin menu allows authorized users to upload any sized patient lists from the LMRRMDR folder. Lists created in this way can then be used in the same way as any other LMR lists. For example, you can manage these lists using the My Patient List module or use them to distribute custom forms (such as previsit forms) on demand. The overall goal is to support Patient Gateway outreach, population health, and meaningful use activities.
1. Select the Patient List Upload option from the Admin menu.
2. Use the List Type option buttons to select the type of list you’d like it to be filed (My, Practice, or Reminder).
3. Use the Data Type option buttons to select whether the list is by EMPI or MRN.
4. Use the List Name field to type the name for your list.
5. Click Load File. Browse to and select the file from the LMRRMDR folder. Depending on the size of your list, it may take some time to generate your lists. If the list contains more than 5,000 patients, multiple lists will be created, appended with ascending numbers (that is name, name1, name2, and so on).
