This module (accessed by clicking Rx Queue from the Admin menu) displays a list of prescriptions you've recently written.
The initial screen displays prescriptions that you've electronically sent to pharmacy (with transmittal status). Click Print Rx Queue to view prescriptions you've printed. If no prescriptions have been electronically sent (or printed earlier that day), the LMR displays, "No Information Available." For a paper copy, click Print.
If applicable, prescriptions can be reprinted or sent again by clicking the associated check box and either Reprint Rx or Resend Fax.
To view the control number for any printed prescription, move the mouse pointer over the medication name (Print Rx Queue only). You can also look up past prescriptions by control number.
Using the drop-down arrow at the top of the screen, you can also view the Rx queue for other providers in your practice.
Notes:
The Rx Print Queue is refreshed every 7 days. To reprint prescriptions that are more than one week old, you must renew or edit the medication.
The Fax Rx/E-Rx Queue displays only the most recent 200 entries. It is not refreshed weekly.
For practices using ePrescribing, the LMR attempts to fax prescriptions that fail to be sent electronically. The LMR sends you a clinical message if the subsequent fax also fails.
