Working with Favorites

This module displays a list of problems previously added as "favorites" by you or by other members of your practice and saved for shared use. (For procedures, click the Procedures option button.) You can add, update, or delete entries.

Favorites allow you a shortcut to enter problems and procedures that you commonly encounter in your patient population. Use of Favorites is a two-step process:

First, enter the problem or procedure. Click New Favorite from the Custom>Problem Favorite module and complete all applicable fields. Click Save, and select whether you want to save your favorite to My List (to save the favorite for your personal use) or Practice (to save it for shared use by others in your practice). Update the Problem (or Procedure) Favorite Name, if desired, and click Save.

Note: The Favorite Name field determines how the favorite is to appear in your list of favorites.

Then, when you want to enter this problem or procedure for a patient, click Favorites either at the lookup screen or directly from the Problems module. The LMR displays a list of favorites that you have saved to your personal list or that you and your colleagues have saved to your practice list. Click the item you want to add.

To delete entries from your favorites list, click the check box to the left of one or more problems (or procedures) and click Delete. The LMR displays a verification message. Click OK.
