Customizing Your LMR Menu  

The Custom Menu module allows you to customize the menu options displayed within the LMR. You can hide menu or submenu items or move submenu items from one menu to another. To reset your menu at any time, click Reset to default. Authorized users include a Practice Menu option, allowing them to maintain menus for all users within a practice.

• To indicate where the LMR should go after logging in

  Initially, the LMR is set to display the Schedule view after logging into the application. However, you can change it to the Home Page by clicking the associated default check box. Or you can change it to any other submenu in the Desktop menu by clicking the plus sign next to Desktop. Then select the associated Default option.

• To indicate where the LMR should go after selecting a patient

  Initially, the LMR is set to display the Summary view after selecting a patient. However, you can change it to any other submenu in the Patient Chart menu by clicking the associated Default option.

  Note: This location was previously set using the Custom Preferences view (using the option, "After selecting a patient, go to Patient Chart").

• To hide any submenu item or an entire menu

  Click the Hide check box associated with that item. Or to display previously hidden items, click the check box to deselect it. For submenu items, you need to expand the menu to access this check box.

  Note: The following submenu items cannot be hidden: the Schedule option under the Desktop menu, the Summary option under the Patient Chart menu, any of the items under the Results menu, and the Custom Menu option under the Custom menu. Likewise, you are not able to hide the Home or Sign button in the menu bar.

• To move submenu items within a menu

  Click the to expand the menu. Then, click the item to select it (not the check box) and   to move the item up one level, to move the item to the top of the list, to move the item down one level, or to move the item to the bottom of the list.

• To move submenu items between menus

  Click the item to select it (not the check box). Then, click to move the item to the previous menu or to move the item to the next menu.

• To rearrange menus

  Click the item to select it from the menu list on the left. Then, click a arrow button to move the item.

Click Save Menu after making your changes. Your updates are effective immediately.
