1. If you haven't already, go to the Custom Queries module.
2. Click Add New to display the New Query form.
3. At the top of the screen, click a Return option. Your choice determines whether your query will only identify patients that meet all of the criteria that you will specify or patients meeting at least one of the criteria.
4. Define your criteria by clicking the associated category (such as Problems or BMT Flowsheet). Then, specify your search criteria.
Clicking Problems and Medications displays a lookup box. Type three or more letters and click Lookup. Click to make your selection and OK.
Clicking Immunizations, Health Monitoring, Physical findings, Infusion BMT Flowsheet, TNM Flowsheet, or any Infusion flowsheet entry displays a list of items. Click checkboxes, as desired. For Health Monitoring and Physical Findings, you can also specify a value range.
Clicking Allergies displays a list of items with a Drug Lookup option.
5. Click Save.
6. Type a name for your custom query. Then, select whether you want to save your custom query to your personal list ( My List) or make it available to others within your practice ( Practice or Practice General). If desired, click Save to Modules.
7. Click Save.
