Read an Overview about Cosign Reports
The Cosign Reports module allows you to generate three different reports related to cosign processing: Outstanding Cosign Transactions, Discarded Cosign Transactions, and Aggregate Transactions. These reports can help you manage the cosign process to ensure transactions are being reviewed in a timely manner.
Work with Outstanding Cosign Transactions
The Outstanding Cosign Transactions Report provides practice managers with a real-time snapshot of which providers have outstanding cosign requests for the current logged in location. These requests are associated with updates by non-providers that have not yet been approved or acknowledged. Updates that have not yet been approved are not included in the chart for the associated patient.
The report displays information for each provider, and includes the oldest transaction that has not yet been approved and acknowledged. For details on transactions for any provider, click the link for the provider's name.
To filter report information, click AutoFilter and select the column headers that you want to include, and click Ok. Items that you leave unchecked are not included in the displayed report.
Work with Discarded Cosign Transactions
The Discarded Cosign Transactions Report provides practice managers with a real-time history of discarded updates for a selected patient and time frame at the currently selected practice. These transactions are associated updates that had been reviewed for approval but subsequently rejected by a designated provider.
To generate the report, click Select Patient and select a patient by medical record number or name. Then, select the time frame and click Create New. You can generate the report for all patients (Select All) or generate the report for the last patient that you selected.
The report includes the non-provider (staff member) who entered the information, the date entered, type of transaction, cosign message (if entered), as well as the provider who discarded the update and the date.. To filter report information, click AutoFilter and select the column headers that you want to include, and click Ok. Items that you leave unchecked are not included in the displayed report.
The Aggregate Report provides practice managers with a report of the total number of transactions approved, acknowledged, and discarded for each provider for a selected time frame at the currently selected practice.
To generate the report, select the time frame and click Create New. Only providers with transactions approved, acknowledged, or discarded are included in the report. For details on transactions for any provider, click the link for the number of transactions approved, acknowledged, or discarded.
To filter report information, click AutoFilter and select the column headers that you want to include, and click Ok. Items that you leave unchecked are not included in the displayed report.
