Forwarding a Note to Another User's Queue

1.   If you haven't already, go to the Document Management module.

2.   Click the subject of the note to be forwarded. The LMR displays that note.

3.   Click the next to the Forward To field. The LMR displays all users associated with the currently selected location. Click to select the name of the user you want to forward this note to.

Note: If your location is part of a multiple clinic site, click the Entire Practice button to expand the drop-down list to include all users at all clinics. This can be useful if the user you want to forward the note to is not displayed in the initial list. Once you click this button, it is no longer displayed.

4.   Click Ok at the dialog box confirming that you are forwarding the note to the correct person. A second dialog box opens.

5.   Enter comments regarding the reason you are forwarding the note and click Ok.

Note: A user is notified that a note has been forwarded by a  icon that appears next to the subject of the forwarded note in their Document Management queue. The icon displays a tooltip including the name of the person who forwarded the note, the date the note was forwarded, and any comments.

6.   If you want to save your work now, click Sign (F10). The LMR indicates the changes that will be saved. Type your key and click Sign.
