The AutoFilter option allows you to limit the list of referrals using specific criteria (such as the Next Step column to view only referrals at a particular stage). The resulting list includes only those meeting your specific criteria, making it easier to find individual referrals or to manage the list of those requiring your attention.
Note: This option filters your list only temporarily. Once you navigate away from the Referral Management module, your list is no longer filtered.
1. If you haven’t already, go to the Referral Management module.
2. Click the AutoFilter option in the upper right corner of the Referral list. The LMR displays a criteria selector for each column heading of the Referral list.
3. Click the to select the specific criteria you want to use to filter the Referral list. For example, to include only referrals awaiting a specialist’s note, click the
beneath the Next Stage column to display a list of all possible options. Click to deselect the “All” check box. Then, click the “Awaiting Note” option and click Ok.
Note: Support staff might want to filter the list to display only those referrals with a Next Step of “Draft – Staff to Complete.”
4. Repeat step 3, if desired, to sort by more than one AutoFilter option at a time. For example, you can choose to display only referrals awaiting a note from a specific specialist.
