Use the following steps to set the default EOV forms printed when you click Quick Print Forms for an encounter (from either the EOV or EOV Desktop module). Depending on your authorization, you may be able define both a personal default (My Default) and a Practice Default. If you create a personal default, EOV uses this form in place of the Practice Default.
1. If you haven’t already, click Forms Default. The application displays the Manage EOV Default Forms screen. For details, click here.
2. To create or update your personal list of default EOV forms (My Default), do the following:
a. If necessary, click Set My Default in the rightmost column. If you already have a personal default, this is not necessary. You will already have a column labeled My Default.
b. To add order requisition forms, click the drop-down arrow to select the priority of the form. Selecting the form priority ensures that the tests print on the correct forms based on the location to which the specimen will be delivered.
Note:
When printing order requisitions, those with different dates appear on separate forms.
To remove an order requisition form, click the drop-down list and select the blank line.
c. To add other forms and patient education materials, click the Included check box.
Note: To remove other forms and patient education materials, click to clear the Included check box.
d. Click Save. Or to delete your personal default and use the practice default, click Delete.
3. To update the list of EOV forms used as your practice default, make the following updates in the field labeled “Practice Default”:
a. To add order requisition forms, click the drop-down arrow to select the priority of the form. The drop-down list is only available for forms that are authorized for use with your practice. Selecting the form priority ensures that the tests print on the correct forms based on the location to which the specimen is delivered.
Note: When printing order requisitions, those with different dates appear on separate forms.
b. To add other forms and patient education materials, click the Included check box.
Note: To remove other forms and patient education materials, click to clear the Included check box.
c. Click Save.
4. To return to the EOV or EOV Desktop module (depending on your previous location), click Cancel (ALT+C).
