Dose

For either the Order by Dose or Order by Str/Form options, the following tabs display at the top left of the form, if applicable:

• Variable - Click the Variable Dose tab to append fields at the bottom of the form for entry of different doses for odd and even days.

• Alternating - Click the Alternating Dose tab to append fields at the bottom of the form for entry of variable combinations of dose, frequency, and duration.

• Taper - Click the Taper Dose tab (if applicable) to append fields at the bottom of the form for entry of a taper schedule.

• Scale - Click the Sliding Scale tab (Heparin, Insulin, and Nitroglycerin Paste only) to append fields at the bottom of the form for entry of a sliding scale dose.
