Custom Summary Overview

The Custom Summary module allows you to change the layout of summary screens in the LMR to meet the needs of you and your practice.

When creating a custom summary, you can select from as many or as few LMR modules as desired (such as Problems, Medication, Flowsheets, and so on). You can even specify the location for each item, determining the order each tab displays in a multiple-column layout.

The buttons at the top of the screen let you change the layout of the Summary, Summary Popup, or QuickLook.

• Summary

  Click the Summary button to customize the Summary screen. You can create as many custom summaries as you wish. However, only one can be selected as the default Summary by clicking Default option for the associated Summary. If you do not select a default, the LMR uses the system default.

  Note: You can also change your Summary screen to the format that was displayed prior to the December '03 release. Do so by clicking the associated check box (Default to Traditional Summary) at the top of the screen.

• Summary Popup

  Click the Summary Popup button to specify a different default layout for the LMR Summary (F9). Click the Default option for the associated Summary.

• QuickLook

  Click the QuickLook button to specify a different default layout for the QuickLook popup (F8). Click the Default option for the associated layout.

A series of filter buttons at the top of the screen can help you locate and view custom summaries created by others.

• All

  The default view. Includes all custom layouts.

• Practice

  Includes all custom layouts saved by you and your colleagues as "practice" (shared) layouts.

• My

  Includes all custom layouts you have saved to your personal list.
