Running Patient List Query Reports

This report produces a list of patients who have at least two appointments in the past 2 years with either you or a selected provider. The list can be filtered by whatever parameters you select (for example, you can limit the list to only patients who have a specific condition on the LMR problem list).  To run this report, you must have access to Reports Central. You also need to have a panel of patients at the location you are logged into or select a provider who has a panel at that location. You use different versions of the report, depending on whether you are running the report for yourself or another provider.

1.   If you haven't already, select Report Central from the Reports menu.

2.   Go to the Meaningful Use tab and click the Run Now button for one of the following reports:

3.   Enter any parameters you'd like to use to filter your list. If you are running the Practice Managers version of this report, you must select a provider who has a panel of patients at your location. When saved to the LMR, two lists are included: one filtered by eligible patients with active reminders, and one by patients without reminders However, you may wish to filter by other parameters (such as age and gender) to keep your list to a manageable length.

Note: There is a 3,200 patient list limit. An error displays if your list exceeds this limit. In this case, you need to break up your list into multiple lists using parameters as described in step 3.

4.   Click Submit to run the report. It may take a few minutes to generate the report.

5.   Enter a title for the report in the corresponding field.

 To ensure the title displays properly in the LMR, add a space before the first word and use spaces between the words of the title.

6.   Click Save To Reminder List. It takes up to 24 hours for a saved list to be accessible in the LMR My Patient List module.
