Use the following steps to edit header information (such as to update care providers, flowsheet name, or general comments).
1. If you haven't already, select the patient and go to the BTS Flowsheet module.
2. Click Edit FS.
3. Update any of the displayed information, as needed. Do not enter information into General Comments that belongs in other sections of the flowsheet, such as administration complications.
4. To add a diagnosis for the patient, click Add DX. Select a Diagnosis and MD. Click to specify one as the primary diagnosis.
5. For authorized super users only, you can also edit or delete a diagnosis previously entered in error (if applicable). Do so as follows:
To edit a diagnosis, click Edit DX. The LMR displays a new drop-down list. Select a diagnosis to be used to replace the previous diagnosis. The LMR displays a list of visits associated with the previous diagnosis. Select the visits that should be updated to use the new diagnosis.
To edit a diagnosis, click Delete DX. Only a diagnosis with no associated visits can be deleted. If necessary, first update all visits using that diagnosis as previously indicated. You may also need to update the primary diagnosis.
6. Click Ok (ALT+O).
