Archiving notes removes them from the display of your finalized notes to simplify your document management queue. You can view archived notes from the Notes module for the applicable patient. From Document Management, you have the option of reviewing the notes before you archive them or you can archive multiple notes at one time.
1. If you haven't already, go to the Document Management module.
2. Click the Final button to view your queue of notes in Final status.
3. Click the subject of the note to display it.
4. Do either of the following, as appropriate:
To archive the selected note only, click the Archive check box at the top left of the screen and OK.
To review and archive your list of notes, click Archive-Next or Archive-OK (for the last note in the queue).
1. If you haven't already, go to the Document Management module.
2. Click the Final button to view your queue of notes in Final status.

Notes are automatically archived after remaining in your Final queue for more than 30 days.
Regardless of its status in your queue, every patient note is always available from the Notes module within the patient chart.
