Adding a Due Date for a Health Monitoring Item

Although the LMR automatically assigns due dates to some health monitoring items based on decision-support reminders, you can add a due date for any item. Doing so allows you to track the status of the item. The LMR uses pink highlighting to indicate items that are overdue. Yellow highlighting indicates items that are almost due.

To add a due date for a health monitoring item, click the ... link in the Due column of the Health Monitoring grid. The LMR displays an entry form.

You can indicate a due date as a specific amount of time from the current date (that is, the number of years, months, weeks, or days from today). Alternately, you can indicate a specific patient age, or set up a recurring due date. You can also enter a reason for the due date.

Make your selections and click Ok (ALT+O). You do not need to type your key to sign this update.
