1. If you haven't already, select the patient and go to the Infusion Flowsheet module.
Note: Patients treated at both MGH and the DFCI may have more than one flowsheet. If so, you need to click the desired flowsheet and click Ok (ALT+O) to continue.
2. Click the heading for Take Home Oral Chemotherapy to expand it.
3. Click the associated Add New link. The LMR displays the standard lookup screen for adding medications.
4. Look up the medication by typing the first few letters of the medication name, and click Lookup. The LMR displays matching entries. Click to select the medication.
5. Complete other fields, as desired, and click Ok (ALT+O). The LMR redisplays the Infusion Flowsheet.
Note: There is a defined list of oral chemotherapy medications. If you add one of these medications to the LMR, it will automatically display in the active meds list in the Take Home Oncology Meds section after you sign your updates.
6. If you want to save your work now, click Sign. The LMR indicates the changes that will be saved. Type your key and click Sign.
