1. If you haven't already, select My Patient List from the Desktop menu.
2. Click Reminders.
3. Click the name of the list on the left to select it. For each uploaded file, two reports are generated: one for patients with reminders that are due, and one for patients with no reminders (with "NoRem" added to the end of the report name).
Note: Use the "NoRem" version of the list to send generic reminders, such as to encourage discarding expired medications. Doing so can help you meet Meaningful use targets for preventive care.
4. Do any of the following:
View
list information by clicking the
icon.
Filter the list by clicking to select or deselect the reminder preference (PG, Letter, Phone, Opt Out, No Preference), then click Submit
Expand the individual items in the list by clicking the plus sign (or select the Expand All option) to view the coded system reminder for the patient.
If the list contains more than one page, click the page number links to view the additional pages.
5. Create reminder letters by doing the following:
a. Select the desired patient or patients by clicking the check box next to each name. Or, to create a letter for all displayed patients, click the uppermost check box.

Note: If you are working with the "NoRem" list, be sure to select a generic reminder template. See Adding a Patient Reminder Template for creating templates.
c. The Add Note screen displays and includes the list of patient(s) for whom the letter is being created on the left. Make any changes to the letter contents, if necessary.
d. Click Ok-Final to save the letter as final.
e. To sign for your work and save the reminder letters as Final status notes, click Sign (F10). The LMR indicates the changes that will be saved. Type your key and click Sign.
