Partial Dose Report

This report includes all chemotherapy continuous infusions that were administered as a partial dose (that is, the patient received less than the ordered dose). A partial dose can be entered for the six chemotherapy injectables only. This includes session 2 and 3 orders entered in COE with the following routes: continuous infusion, IV, intraperitoneal, IV bolus, IV push, and intraarterial. The partial dose is documented on the Estimated Administered Dose screen, which appears when Partial Dose is selected on the IV Status Alert.

• To generate the report

1. If you haven't already:

• Hold the mouse pointer over the OE/eMAR menu in the PHS Viewer, then click MGH eMAR.
• Hold the mouse pointer over the Reports option, then click Other Reports menu.
• Click to select Partial Dose.

2. Click to select a care unit.
3. By default, the report is sorted by date. Click to select an option from the drop-down menu to change the sorting parameter: date, location, or user who entered the dose.
4. By default, the report is sorted in descending (Desc) order; by date shows most recent first; all other sorts are alphabetical. Click to select the Asc option to reverse the order.
5. Click the Today or Yesterday option to select those as the report date range, or click beside the From and To fields to select the start and end dates of the desired reporting period.
6. Click Display.
