Med Overview Report

This report lists all completed and pending administrations (including pending orders) for a 2-week span of time, starting with the selected date.

• To generate the report

1. If you haven't already:

• Hold the mouse pointer over the OE/eMAR menu in the PHS Viewer, then click MGH eMAR.
• Hold the mouse pointer over the Reports option, then click Other Reports menu.
• Click to select Med Overview.

2. Click beside the From field to select the start date of the two-week reporting period.
3. Click Display.

• Report information:

• Completed administrations are displayed within the block for the associated day, indicated by the time given. If a scheduled administration was not given, that time appears with strikethrough text. Administrations documented on paper are indicated by the text "P/OLS." Brackets [] indicate unknown administrations. A legend is displayed at the bottom of the report.
• The report lists all Coumadin (warfarin) orders first. Next, the report groups orders by status (active, inactive, and pending RN review). Within each status grouping, the report sorts orders by order category (X1, Maintenance, IV Meds and IV Fluids, and so on). Within the X1 and Maintenance order category, the report sorts orders by AHFS class. Within the PRN order category, the report lists narcotics and sedatives, followed by insulins and antidiabetics.
• Orders not otherwise sorted are listed by order start time.

• For reports containing more than one page, click  to go to the next page or  to go to the previous page.
• To magnify the report, click the buttons.
