Viewing Historical Allergy Records

The Allergy Manager allows all authorized users to view active and inactive allergies and reactions that have been recorded for the patient in the historical Partners Enterprise Allergy Repository. Allergy information is historical only as of 10/31/2019. For up-to-date allergy records, check the patient's Epic chart.

Uncoded (free-text) allergies are listed with an asterisk (*) preceding the allergen name. These entries cannot be used in decision support (such as drug-allergy checking).

• To display this view, click the Allergy History option on the PHS Viewer menu.
• To view the history for an allergen, click its Updated date.

• The Allergy Manager displays a list of edits for that allergy, as well as the source application for the entry.
• Click Return to close the history and return to the allergies list.

• To display inactive allergies, click for Inactivated Allergies at the bottom of the list.
