Using This Help

Context-Sensitive Help

Provider Order Entry (POE) Help is context-sensitive—that is, if you click Help in the CAS or press the F1 key while you have any window that works with POE open, a specific topic opens. There are a few possibilities:

Using the Help Index

There will be plenty of times, though, when you know exactly what you want to do and just wish there was someone there to tell you how, quickly. The index in POE Help is designed to get you the exact information you need. Accessing the index is simple:

  1. Click Help in the CAS.

  2. Click Index at the top of the Help window that opens.

  3. Type a word that describes what you want to do. The index displays entries that match what you've typed as soon as you press the keys.

  4. Click the index entry that describes what you want to do. The related topic opens.
