Order General Care—Neonatal Fluids and Phototherapy

• If you haven't already:

1. Select the patient.

2. Click Write (ALT+W).

3. Click General Care (ALT+G).

4. Click Fluid Management/Phototherapy.

• Complete the order:

1. Click a checkbox to select Phototherapy (ALT+P), Total Daily Fluids (ALT+T), or both.

2. Complete each section as follows:

• Phototherapy: Click to select the number of lights, then select one or more types of light. If Other, type a description in the field provided.

• Total Daily Fluids: Type a number for the volume per kilogram of patient weight per day.

3. Type instructions as needed.

4. Select a Start Time (Now or Other ).

5. Click OK (ALT+O).

• Write additional orders as needed, then sign the session.
