Enter AUC Dose Modifications

1. Write the order for the applicable chemo medication, selecting AUC as the dosed by parameter.

2. Complete the form, selecting the AUC formula, and typing a single value for the Target AUC.

3. Click Dose modifications (ALT+M). The Dose Modifications window opens.

4. Click Add (ALT+A) to enter new modifications; click a line then Edit (ALT+E) to change parameters for an existing modification.

5. Type a Target AUC and the clinical reason for changing the value during treatment.

6. Click OK (ALT+O).

7. Repeat the process for additional modifications to the target AUC. Click OK (ALT+O) when all of the options are listed in the Dose Modifications window.

8. Click OK (ALT+O) to complete the chemo medication order.

• Providers do not have the option for "something else" for target AUC. To use a target AUC that isn’t listed as a modification option, providers must omit the original chemo medication from the orders, and write the order with the dosing modification as an exception.
