Smoking Status Details

Clinicians recording the patient's health habits can include details of the smoking status for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) National Health Interview Survey (NHIS) of Adult Tobacco Use.

• Smoking status recode is the numeric value assigned for the survey to each option in the smoking status category. The recode is displayed in the Zoom view of the order.
