To create an extract, users must be authorized for the application and for specific sites. Authorization for all sites except DFCI is granted by the Partners centralized Health Information Management (HIM); authorization for DFCI is granted by the DFCI Health Information Services (HIS) department.
In addition, users must be authorized for the underlying applications to use them: Results Viewer, Allergy Manager, MGH Appointments, MGH POE and eMAR, DFPCC COE, Enterprise Immunizations (general and HIM authorizations), and LMR Restricted Notes. Please inform your manager if you require access.
HIS Patient Extract includes patient data from the legacy applications that were used before Epic was implemented for these sites (Epic first use date in parentheses): BWH and DFCI (5/30/2015); MGH (4/2/2016), NSMC (1/27/2017).
As of 4/18/18, HIS Extract includes limited legacy data from six (6) additional Partners sites: BWFH, CDH, NWH, SCC, SHC, and SRH
