This usually indicates a problem with your workstation; however, it may simply be a matter of network traffic. Be sure to allow at least a few minutes before assuming there is a problem.
Note: Momentary "hanging" from the Big Board tab may be due to the Result Viewer's automatic refresh feature.
If after a few minutes your workstation is still frozen, press the CTRL + ALT + DEL keys at the same time; then do one of the following:
If the Windows Security dialog box appears, click Task Manager. In the Windows Task Manager Applications tab, look at the list of currently running programs ("tasks") to see if any have stopped responding (indicated in the Status column). Click the name of a stalled program; then click End Task. After ending all stalled programs, close the dialog box.
Note: If your workstation is still frozen, press CTRL + ALT + DEL twice to reboot your workstation.
If the Windows Security dialog box does not appear, press CTRL + ALT + DEL again to reboot your workstation.
Note: Rebooting your workstation will cause you to lose unsaved information.
If you continue to experience problems, call your Help Desk.
