Building Templates - Prompts for Collection or Process Orders

Templates can be set up to prompt a provider to order a process order after the collection is signed, or a collection after the process is signed. The shared information is carried over automatically if the ordering provider opts to continue with the order when prompted.

• If you haven't already, access the builder.
  1. Log on to Biotherapy Tools.
  2. Hold the mouse pointer over the Protocol/Treatment Plan tab.
  3. Mouse over to the specialty you want, Oncology or Non-Oncology, and then click the Builder/Editor option.
• Find and select the template:

  1. Click the Protocols or Treatment Plans heading to display the available protocols or treatment plans.
  2. Click the protocol or treatment plan name to select it and display its product cell types.

  3. Click name of the product cell type to display all associated templates.
  4. Click to select the template. Selected items are displayed in red.
• Search by name of the protocol, treatment plan, or template

  Find the template:

  1. Click the type of template you're looking for in the builder tree: Protocols, Treatment Plans, or Default Groups.
  2. In the pop-up menu (bottom right), click Find by type of template or Template Name (where type of template is Protocol, Treatment Plan, or Default Group).
  3. In the Search Criteria pane, click to select an option: Search type of template or Search by Template Name.
  4. Type the text to search for. Capitalization does not matter. The search looks for the exact sequence anywhere in the name of the protocol, treatment plan, default group, or template (depending on your selection in step 1).
  5. Click Find.

  Go to the template in the builder:

  1. Click to select the line for a template in the list.
  2. In the pop-up menu (bottom right), click Go to this item.

• For the selected template, to prompt the ordering provider for additional orders after signing:

1. Click to select Collection Options or Process Options in the list to the left.
2. Required items are pre-checked. Click to check other options as needed.

• For collection orders, to prompt automatically for a process order, click to check the Process Order Prompt option.
• For process orders, to prompt automatically for a collection order, click to check the Collection Order Prompt option.

3. Click Save.
4. Set the parameters for each option selected for collection or process order, as needed:

1. Click to select the option listed on the left:

• For Collections, the Process Order Prompt option.
• For Process orders, the Collection Order Prompt option.

2. Click Save.
